You work as a newspaper editor for correcting typos and whatnot for the king's propaganda. You're friends with Orange, but have a strange chemistry with your mother and boss.

This is a story of  a  war, and it's messiness.

For the Pursuing Pixels Jam, it was an attempt from myself to make a text based game. I have prototyped a few in the past, so this was a nice opportunity to see whether in a week, I could make something.

Very interesting format to tell a story. I feel like the only things that annoyed me was the music, it's a bit grating on the ears. Also the typing is a little jank, but otherwise very cool game!

thanks. Just downloaded your game. Will play it in a few as well

The biggest issue is the keyboard input. It's all too easy to make a typing error because one holds down a key for a fraction too long.

I liked the 'joining the army' montage and how the words were able to control the character if they moved in a direction with the wrong timing.

Just a question though... was it possible to copyedit the newpaper article correctly? Did I miss something? I worry I ended up with an undesirable storyline path.

not yet, I ran out of time but I’ll add multiple options in the future

I was mostly sick throughout the week, so if you feel like the game is stupid, you know what to blame.
